WHITE HYDRANT SYSTEM D19 BETA-02(SR) WITH PRESSURE INDICATOR

The hydrant system is one of the most important fire extinguishing devices serving as basic protection of buildings against fire. It is a reliable extinguishing agent with an instantly available constant supply of water.

It is suitable for wall mounting, but also for installation in masonry or partition walls. It is lockable. In the event of a fire, open the hydrant box and pull out the hose reel. The hydrant is powder coated in white plastic according to RAL.

The pressure indicator (manometer) installed in the hydrant system is used to control and measure the water pressure in the fire hydrant water supply network. The main function of the pressure gauge is to ensure that the water pressure in the system is sufficient for reliable and effective fire fighting as well as for the operation of the connected hoses and nozzles. Correct pressure is essential to achieve the required water flow. Thus, water can be delivered to a remote or higher location (area) without a significant drop in pressure. If there is a drop or overpressure at the pressure gauge, it can compromise the safety and effectiveness of the hydrant system. For example, a drop or overpressure may occur due to a malfunction in the system, a leak, or other defects.

The hydrant system contains a metal cabinet with a single leaf door in which the hydrant reel is mounted on a hinged arm. The reel is wound with a dimensionally stable hose with a self-closing nozzle. The water supply is provided by a connecting hose terminated by a flow valve. The hose is made of a lightweight matrial that allows easy and quick handling, which significantly increases the efficiency of the intervention. Furthermore, the package includes a self-adhesive safety label "Hose reel" and of course the instruction manual.

The system is certified according to EN 671-1:2012
