SERVICE COATING FR-1 - FIRE PROTECTION COATING FOR CABLING
Protecta® Service Coating FR-1 is a water-based intumescent coating for fire protection of cables in service installations. The coating improves insulation and installation integrity, is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and durable. It can be applied in one coat, saving time and money.

MAIN USES
Protecta® Service Coating FR-1 provides superior fire resistance by rendering combustible cables non-combustible. The product can be used in combination with Protecta® FR Board thermal insulation as a back coating on service equipment to achieve higher fire resistance.

FEATURES:
- A non-toxic, environmentally friendly product with almost zero VOC content.
- Durable, can withstand cleaning with a damp cloth without risk of paint washout
- No further surface treatment is necessary; excellent coverage is achieved by brush or spraycan be applied in one coat, saving paint and especially application time
- The durability of the coating is estimated to be at least 12 years
