QUARANTINE SITE - EXTINGUISHING (COOLING) TANK FOR ELECTRIC CAR BATTERIES

The quarantine tank is designed for safe shutdown of electric vehicles in garages and operations specialized in electric vehicles. It serves as a preventive and intervention solution in case of overheating of the traction battery or suspected risk of thermal leakage.

In normal operation, the electric vehicle stands dry in the tank. If the temperature of the vehicle or the battery system rises, the tank can be quickly filled with water, thus cooling the battery intensively and reducing the risk of fire or re-ignition.

The tank is available in two height options:
50 cm - suitable for passenger electric cars
100 cm - suitable for SUVs and higher vehicles

The quarantine space can be further supplemented or alternatively replaced with a 6 × 8 m firefighting tarp (firefighting blanket). This sheet limits the spread of smoke, flames and radiant heat to the surrounding area and significantly increases the safety of the area in an emergency.

The solution is an effective, flexible and safe way to protect personnel, the building and surrounding vehicles when handling and servicing electric vehicles.

The entire system is designed for maximum functionality and safety even under extreme conditions. The tank is made of highly durable ABS polymer material, which is known for its hardness and ability to withstand mechanical stress. The walls of the components have a thickness of 5.1 mm, which ensures high strength, durability and resistance to deformation. In addition, the tank is finished in red, which not only increases its visibility during intervention, but also meets safety standards and facilitates its use in crisis situations.
