LITHIUM BATTERY EXTINGUISHER LITH EX 2 L

This extinguisher is suitable for extinguishing lithium battery fires in the initial phase. It finds its application in industrial premises and production plants, but also in households, in short, wherever there is a lithium battery source.
It can also be used to extinguish electrical equipment with a voltage of up to 1000 V from a minimum distance of 1 m. It is small, portable and comes with a car holder for easy installation. The unit is under constant pressure and refillable after use. The pressure of the extinguisher is visible on a pressure gauge installed on the valve. The extinguishing agent contains vermiculite, which occurs naturally in nature, and is chemically and physically inert. It releases only steam when exposed to higher temperatures and is therefore sterile. It is non-toxic.

LITHEX fire extinguishers are tested in accordance with the Dutch Technical Agreement *NTA 8133:2021 +A1:2025, which sets specific requirements for lithium-ion battery firefighting. The tests are carried out by the certified and nationally recognised testing laboratory KIWA.

*NTA 8133 is a technical standard that defines the testing methodology for fire extinguishers designed for lithium-ion battery fires with a capacity of up to 600 Wh. It ensures that the apparatus can extinguish the fire safely, quickly and without risk of reignition.
